Collections: We advise you make us aware of when you are collecting to ensure we have the product ready and wrapped for you. Most of our products are made to order.

We have an outdoor display area at our sales office, which is designed to show our range of natural stone for building and landscaping. You are welcome to visit us and see the range.

Directions

Black Mountain Quarries is located in Herefordshire, close to the towns of Abergavenny and Hereford. The closest motorways are the M4 and M5.

From Abergavenny (Approximately a twenty-minute drive)
Take the A465 to Hereford for approx 12 miles until you reach Pontrilas sawmills on the left, continue for approx ¼ mile, take the right turn signposted Howton. Proceed under the railway bridge and follow the signs for Black Mountain Quarries.

From Hereford (Approximately a twenty-minute drive)
Take the A465 south of Hereford to Abergavenny for approx. 12 miles, take the left turn signposted Howton. Proceed under the railway bridge and follow the signs for Black Mountain Quarries.

From Ross (Approximately a thirty-minute drive)
Take the A49 to Hereford for approx 7 miles. Take the B4348 to Hay on Wye/ Kingstone to the T junction, turn right, then left towards Kingstone for approx 7 miles until you come to another T junction. Turn left onto A465 to Abergavenny for approx 6 miles, take the left turn signposted Howton. Proceed under the railway bridge and follow the signs for Black Mountain Quarries.

Please note: There is no access for ANY vehicle over 12ft using the above directions. Should your vehicle be over 12ft you MUST telephone Black Mountain Quarries on 01981 241 541 for specific instruction, prior to your arrival.
