SALES ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking for a motivated and proactive person who is happy to learn about a range of building products and offer help to a variety of customers on the telephone, by email and who visit the offices. Whilst you do not need to have a sales background, excellent customer service is paramount in this role

The role will involve:

  • Answering and replying to telephone calls and emails in a professional, efficient manner.
  • Calculating and following up quotations.
  • Inputting sales orders on Sage Line 50.
  • Updating marketing materials.
  • Sending out samples and marketing literature.
  • General sales office administration duties.

We are looking for somebody who has a pleasant telephone manner and good customer service skills. The Sales Administrator needs to be friendly, flexible and adaptable; who is self-motivated, reliable and organised. We require somebody who is conscientious and has pride in their work.

The successful person will need to have a good knowledge of Microsoft office, especially excel. Experience with Sage Line 50 Accounts would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be given. Competent in maths calculations and building knowledge would be advantageous, but again not essential.

Whilst this job is primarily office based, the nature of the job will require regular visits into the outdoor production area to liaise with yard staff.
This is a full time role with the hours being 8.30am til 5.00pm Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday mornings from 9.00am til 12.30pm. Statutory annual holidays plus bank holidays.
As we are based rurally you will need your own transport.
