Our porcelain paving have a hard surface and are easy to clean. Unlike natural stone, these porcelain products do not require sealing or specific cleaning products. Even spots of grease or red wine can be easily cleaned away. They can be cleaned with just water and a soft scrubbing brush.
Solnhofen – Emperor Classic
Unlike other porcelain floor tiles, EMPEROR floor tiles have a slightly conical edge – their ‘natural edge’.
This offers two key benefits:
Looks:- Once laid, EMPEROR floor tiles look just like natural stone and are clearly different from ceramic floor tiles with calibrated edges.
Resistance to wear:- Their slanting edges give EMPEROR floor tiles extra stability, making them more resistant to cracking and damage to the edges.
Repeats: The number of repeats of a pattern within a product depends on how lively the pattern is. Our porcelain will vary from 22 repeats in more lively tiles down to 4 in plainer products
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
Format: 400mm x 800mm x 20mm thick

Our porcelain paving range is weather, frost and acid resistant.
All Emperor range floor tiles have a slip safety rating of at least 11 which means the products have been tested in various wet and dry conditions and have proven to be very low risk of slipping.
Our porcelain paving is ideal for use on patios, roof terraces and balconies, as well as indoors.
The Emperor range can be laid on to:
- permeable mortar
- with recommended adhesive on concrete floor
- bedding aggregate (no cement)
Our porcelain is produced from low lime clays, quartz and feldspar which are shaped by dry pressing and then fired at very high temperatures. This results in a highly durable material with a low level absorption (spillages don’t soak in).
Yes you can. The heat will transfer through the porcelain, it will take a little longer to heat up but holds the heat well much like stone.
