Blue Lias a classic British house building and walling stone. A durable and beautiful limestone, the natural blueness is enhanced by contrasting rich cream-coloured seams. We crop it in the rubble build style to create entirely irregular shaped stones of random heights and widths. We then split it as traditional facing stone, with a bed width ranging between 75-200mm approx. Each rubble bag covers 2-4m2. Blue Lias is quarried in the UK and is historically popular in the West Country.
