About Stone Cladding Slips

15-30mm thickness

Natural stone cladding slips from Black Mountain Quarries, 100% solid stone wall cladding at only 15-30mm thick, ideal for all building and walling applications.

We produce our natural split face cladding slips by cutting a slim face from full-sized pieces of traditional facing stone, to create individual cladding pieces of approx. 15-30mm thickness. These retain the natural stone face in the chosen build style - rubble, random, semi-coursed or coursed - but with a fraction of the bulk. Our cladding slips give the appearance of an authentic, traditional stone wall without the complexity. L-shaped corners also available.

Frequently asked questions

  • How will my cladding slips arrive?

All cladding slips are placed onto our standard pallets which are 1m x 1.2m, they get manually laid individually onto the pallet and then are stacked up to get a maximum of 20m² onto a full pallet space.

  • Shall I book my builder in before ordering the stone?

No, we recommend you ordering the product and have the items on site before organising the builder. This is to avoid any delays either with the product/s or delivery. We will not be held as liable for any changes relating to delays of tradesmen work.

  • Are there minimum orders?

Yes, depending on the product. An example, for the cladding slips are a minimum of 5m², the building stone is a minimum of a full bulk bag, and the flagstones are sold per the crate. Alternatively, the coping stone, cills and lintel are sold by the piece. On each product it will show the minimum quantities when trying to add to basket.

  • Can there be lead times?

We try our best to produce and hold as much stock as we can here at Black Mountain Quarries however, each day varies depending on orders. If an item isn’t in stock or the quantity you require isn’t, then there will be lead times as we would need to get hold of quarry block, the saw, crop and produce the stone before its available.
