Delivery

The Delivery Lorry Via 3rd Party
Your Black Mountain Quarries orders will be delivered to you via a 3rd party UK-wide pallet service, using an 18 tonne lorry with a tail lift and a manual pump truck.
Please note: there is no hiab or lifting gear on board.

Kerbside Delivery

They can only make deliveries to kerbside and onto level, hard standing ground.
Please note: the driver will not be able to unload onto grass, gravel, soft ground or slopes.

Access
Access must be large enough for the lorry (see image above). If restrictions / obstacles prevent delivery, additional charges will be made to rearrange.
Please note: restrictions include low-hanging trees, tight bends, low bridges, narrow streets and lanes.

Date & Time Once we’ve received your order we’ll contact you to arrange a delivery date.  Their standard deliveries are made Mondays – Fridays between 8am and 6pm.  Saturdays and timed deliveries are optional at an additional cost; please contact us to discuss.
Please note: there must be someone available to sign for the delivery. If delivery is missed then re-delivery charges will occur.

Please ring us on 01981 241541 to discuss any delivery queries.

And finally, before making delivery arrangements please also make sure you’ve read our full Terms & Conditions.

OUR PACKAGING IS NOT WATERPROOF.

ALL FINISHING PRODUCTS (ADHESIVE AND POINTING) NEED TO BE STORED OFF THE GROUND IN A COOL, DRY AND CLEAN LOCATION IMMEDIATELY AFTER DELIVERY.

Further Advise:

We insist that no builder/tradesman is booked in to start any relevant work that requires the product/s until the goods have been delivered and inspected to ensure all is correct.

Black Mountain Quarries will not be held as liable for any charges relating to the delay of tradesman working if the goods haven’t arrived. Losses incurred because of failed or late running deliveries cannot be passed onto us.

We need to be made of any shortages or issues with your delivery within 7 days of delivery being made. The customer will be deemed (assumed) to have accepted the goods if the customer has not returned them to the company or informed the company of their rejection within 7 days.
